1.1.1. Overview of the structure of curtain-side semi-trailer
The double side walls of the curtain-side semi-trailer are full-length curtains, and the side curtains can be fully opened during loading and unloading. During operation, the hook at the lower end of the curtain tightens the side curtain through the tensioner of the front/rear corner column. Curtain-side semi-trailers can be divided into two structures: without middle wall and with middle wall. The curtain-side body without middle wall is equipped with sliding columns and side fences (cargo crossbars); the inner wall of the curtain-side body with middle wall is equipped with flexible medium.
a The curtain is a special curtain for imported vehicles and should be kept away from fire and highly corrosive solutions.
b The inner surface of the side curtain has longitudinal and transverse reinforcement ribs and anti-wear belts. If the reinforcement ribs or anti-wear belts are damaged, they should be replaced in time to avoid damage to the curtain.
c There are roller tubes at both ends of the curtain, which work with the tensioning devices of the front and rear corner columns to tighten the side curtains to an appropriate degree of tension. Generally, the roller tube can be rotated 90 degrees and fixed when tensioning.
d After the side curtain tensioner is used, its handle should be fixed to prevent the side curtain from loosening or scratching.
e The customer shall be responsible for the loss caused by failure to repair the curtain in time after it is damaged.
a During loading and unloading, be careful not to tear or scratch the flexible media. If the above situation occurs, it should be repaired in time to prevent the damage from expanding.
b Check whether the flexible media strip is loose. If it is loose, it should be repaired as soon as possible to avoid the strip damaging the goods.
c The flexible media is glued to the steel plate with strong glue. If debonding occurs, the glue should be repaired in time.
d After the flexible media is contaminated by sewage, strong acid, strong alkali and other liquids, it should be cleaned and dried in time before use.
a When moving the sliding columns, keep the sliding columns tilted outward by about 5 degrees. If necessary, add a small amount of lubricating oil to the rollers of the sliding columns. The sliding columns are special key components. If damaged, contact Shenzhen CIMC Special Vehicle Co., Ltd. or go to the designated factory for repair.
b When moving the sliding columns, do not push hard in the direction of the track to prevent the sliding columns from leaving the track.
c When moving to the required position, fix the sliding columns to prevent damage to the side curtains during operation.
d The side fences (cargo blocking cross bars) should be fixed to the cross bar interface to prevent them from falling off during transportation.
